Weather Update: Camp Precautions

Released on July 6, 2024

Dear Scout Families,

We have closely monitored the weather forecast as we prepare for the upcoming week. Next week temperatures will approach triple digits.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our Scouts and leaders, we will be taking the following precautions:

1. Increasing Water Stations: We will set up additional water stations throughout the camp to ensure everyone has easy access to water.

2. Hydration Reminders: Our team will actively remind all Scouts and leaders to stay hydrated and refill their water bottles regularly.

3. Activity Modifications: We will adapt our program to ensure activities occur in shaded areas and reduce strenuous activities during the hottest parts of the day, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The safety of our Scouts is our unwavering top priority, and we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your support and understanding.
