The Official Newsletter of Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley

At the end of summer camp 2007, the staff decided to publish a monthly edition of the Tribune to distribute via e-mail. The first edition was almost deleted by one recepient because the title did not identify what valley, so the name was changed to "The Lost Valley Tribune." The staff gathered as many e-mail addresses as possible and at the end of 2007 "The Lost Valley Tribune" had a circulation of over 800. "The Valley Tribune" started out as a daily newsletter that was handed to adult leaders during summer camp. The newsletter was usually handed out after morning or evening assembilies. It contained information about what was going on around camp and some history of the area.

If you have any suggestions on articles that would be helpful before your visit to Lost Valley, the staff will put together an article. If you have any photos of your Troop during a visit to Lost Valley send it along, you may see it in "The Lost Valley Tribune," or on the website.
