at Irvine Handicraft
Conveniently located behind the Irvine Trading Post and across from the Grace Trading Post, the Handicraft areas provide the materials to earn artistic Merit Badges.  Experiment with your artistic side; if you need to stamp your leatherwork project or fire some clay in the kiln, it's here.

Both Handicraft areas offer Leatherwork, Art, and Basketry Merit Badges.  All Handicraft Merit Badges are Walk-In, meaning the Scout can work through the requirements at his own pace, during the normal program times.

This is a great area for younger Scouts, just getting started in the merit badge program, or for anyone who’d like to make their own camp souvenir to take home with them.  The Trading Posts have all the items needed to complete handicraft Merit Badges available for purchase.

For 2010, only Grace Handicraft will be opened.  It will offer the full range of Handicraft Merit Badges: Art, Basketry, Fingerprinting, Leatherwork, Pottery, and Woodcarving.
