Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley is located in northern San Diego County, California, 12 miles North of Warner Hot Springs.  The camp is surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, and the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation.

After traveling the scenic 10-mile dirt road to the camp, Lost Valley appears like a mountain oasis in the high desert.  Oak and pine forests surround the meadows and valleys that comprise the 1,400 acres of camp.  The reservation abounds with wildlife and has many hiking trails that those attending camp can enjoy.  All units enjoy the unspoiled nature of the surroundings.  At 4,500 feet, the facility is available year-round for a variety of camping programs.

Lost Valley operates as two separate camps, Camp Grace and Camp Irvine, with some shared facilities.

The shared facilities include a rifle range, shotgun range, horse stables, lake, chapel, nature center, COPE course (advanced ropes confidence course), rock climbing, mountain biking, observatory, archery, Indian village, and campfire bowl.

Camp Grace, opened in 1964, has a pool and showers, dining hall (feeding cafeteria style), trading post, handicraft area, and 13 campsites.  Each campsite has a latrine, fire pit, water, picnic table, and is equipped with tents during the summer for camping.

Camp Irvine, opened in 1966, also has a dining hall (feeding cafeteria style), trading post, handicraft area, pool and showers.  There are 15 campsites for tent camping.  Facilities and programs are available depending upon staffing, weather conditions, and time of year.
