Rifle and Shotgun Merit Badge Weekend

| Description |
Come as a troop, patrol or individual and join us for a fun-filled, rewarding weekend program. Boys sign up for either the Rifle or Shotgun Merit Badges. Bring your tent and camp in one of our beautiful campsites, bring your own meals and cooking equipment and have a great program. The fees listed include camping fee, range and ammo fees. For just a little more, bunk in one of our cabins and/or purchase a meal plan for Beckman Dining Hall. Rifle and Shotgun participants must have a permission slip signed by their parent with them to shoot on the ranges. Disclaimer: Rifle and Shotgun Merit Badge participants must qualify for completion per the BSA Merit Badge requirements. A Scout that cannot meet the qualification requirement will not complete the Merit Badge but will be given credit for all completed requirements (a partial). Please consult the Merit Badge Book for details before registering. Individual Scouts must be accompanied by an adult. Each Scout may signup for only one merit badge.
Rifle Merit Badge: No prerequisites. Must have permission slip signed by parent to shoot.
Program, ammo and camping fee: $45 Limit 16 boys
Shotgun Merit Badge: No prerequisites. Must have permission slip to shoot. Boys must be physically strong enough to safely control the shotgun at the Rangemaster’s discretion. Minimum age: 15
Program, ammo and camping fee: $65 Limit 10 Boys
Adult Leader camping fee (no program included): $12
Optional: Bunk Rental $12 per person
Meal Plan (Three meals Saturday, Breakfast Sunday): $28 per person. Meal Plan must be pre-ordered by April 26- we must order food well in advance of the program date
