2009 Claimstake

You can now sign up your troop for summer camp in 2009. This is the first year we have included two years in the Claimstake. This is in response to Scoutmasters who want the ability to go to different camps, but also want to lock-in their reservation for the following year. As you know we have to increase our fees every year to reflect the increased costs of providing one of the finest summer camp experiences available in Scouting, there will be an approximate 5% fee increase in 2009. Here are some ways to keep summer camp within budget!

• If you sign up you will be able to lock in the current 2008 rates, and get the 10% Earlybird Discount for the 2009 summer season. That could save the Troop hundreds of dollars! But you need to get your application, and the $200.00 deposit in before June 27, 2008

Early Bird Special

• For the 2009 summer camp you will get a 10% Discount on the 2009 rates. But you need to get your application, and the $200.00 deposit in before August 31, 2008

Week One Discount

• If you submit a claimstake, with the required deposit for session/week June 28-July 4, 2009, will receive a 10% discount.

First Timer Discount

• If this is your Troop’s first time at Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley Summer Camp, you will be granted a 10% discount for all participants.

Friend of the Valley Discount

•  Troops that have submitted a Claimstake for three consecutive years receive a 10% discount, and for each subsequent year in succession.

Founder Award Units

• Founder Award Units are automatically granted a 5% discount.

(A Troop may earn up to but not exceed 20% in discounts.  Discounts only apply to the Scouts.)
